DreamVision Creations -- About Us

Back in 2011, DreamVision Creations was born from a simple need shared by countless makers and hobbyists—a need for high-quality, affordable finishing touches to complete their costumes. What started as a passion project quickly grew into a dedicated effort to support the creative community, especially those in the furry fandom, cosplay, and mascot-making spaces.

In 2016 we formed a corporation under the name Texan Dragon Productions, Inc. However, we kept the DvC under a DBA to keep the popular name which everyone knows and loves. 

There are 3 owners to the company, and we currently have 2 other employees to help in the shop and keep orders going out in a timely fashion. All the magic happens in our small shop in the town of Wylie, Texas, USA

From the very beginning, our mission has been clear: to produce top-tier parts and pieces that don’t break the bank. We know how much time and love goes into every costume, and we believe that everyone should have access to the final details that bring a character to life—without having to compromise on quality.

While the landscape of costume making has shifted over the years—with 3D printing becoming more prevalent—we’ve stayed true to our roots. Almost everything we offer is still hand-sculpted and hand-cast in-house, using traditional resin and foam casting techniques. It’s not just a process; it’s an art form, and we’re proud to be keeping that craft alive within our community.

Though we started with full suits, and you might still spot a few DreamVision originals at conventions or online, our focus has evolved. Today, our parts are what we’re best known for—thousands of makers across the world use our pieces in their own creations. 

We’ve faced our share of challenges—rising material costs, industry competition, and shifting trends—but through it all, we’ve stayed committed to the makers who rely on us. Your creativity inspires us every day, and we’re honored to be a small part of your big ideas.
